In a significant move towards advancing humanoid robotics, Singapore’s Sharpa has teamed up with Nvidia and Chinese robot maker Unitree to create a cutting-edge humanoid robot platform. This collaboration, announced by Jensen Huang during the Computex tech conference in Taipei, aims to deliver sophisticated robots to researchers by late 2026, focusing on artificial intelligence that can execute precise manual tasks.

Central to this initiative is the Nvidia Isaac GR00T H2 Plus humanoid robot, which integrates Sharpa’s dexterous robotic hands, Unitree’s H2 robot body, and Nvidia’s AI computing capabilities. The robotic hands from Sharpa boast 22 degrees of freedom, mirroring the dexterity of human hands, thus allowing the robots to handle tasks requiring detailed motor skills. The platform is poised to facilitate research in fields such as precision manufacturing, healthcare, food preparation, and cleaning—areas demanding exact object manipulation.
