In the Philippines, recent fuel price adjustments have resulted in a decrease in diesel costs, while gasoline and kerosene prices have increased. As of Tuesday, major fuel retailers reduced diesel prices by P1.30 per liter. Conversely, gasoline prices saw an uptick of approximately P1.90 to P1.93 per liter, and kerosene prices surged by P3.30 per liter.
These changes follow a significant drop in diesel prices the previous week, when costs fell by P7.60 per liter. During the same period, gasoline and kerosene prices also experienced a decrease, with reductions of 30 centavos and P5.90 per liter, respectively.
The latest price adjustments mean that motorists using diesel will experience some financial relief at the pump. However, those relying on gasoline and kerosene will face increased expenses.
This shift in fuel prices highlights the fluctuating nature of the market and its impact on consumers in the region, with diesel users benefiting from lower costs while gasoline and kerosene users manage higher expenses.
